This is an organization designed to foster excellence in restorative dentistry through a relatively uncompromising format in postgraduate education. It is a unique approach to dental learning which features discipline and perfection in operating procedures that is inspired and shared by fellow study club members. Aesthetic considerations as well as traditional value of gold restorations has been redefined by the advent of a variety of more conservative cavity prepration designs and improved indirect techniques.

It is the mission of the academy to promote and aid in the work of the study clubs which seek to learn the techniques which have been redefined to provide aesthetic and permanent dental restorations with a minimum of tooth destruction.
